Product Management

Four years in behavioral research and five years in software engineering, now bringing both perspectives into product management, with a focus on AI and human-AI interaction.

Experience

Software Engineering

5 years

Built products in fintech and marketing technology, collaborating across product, design, and engineering while contributing to estimation, prioritization, and delivery tradeoffs.

Behavioral Research

4 years

Studied motivation, adaptation, learning, and decision making through research design and quantitative analysis.

Featured project

Psychosocial Safety Auditor
for AI Chatbots

An open-source evaluation system for identifying psychosocial risks in multi-turn conversations with companion and wellness AI.

Experimental v1 released · validation ongoing

The broader product addresses psychosocial safety. The current experimental v1 evaluates relational sycophancy: unsupported reinforcement of a user’s interpretation of another person or relationship.

Static example from an evaluator run: 20 scenarios assessed, with a severity 1 finding and its evidence excerpt.

About

I started my career in behavioral research, studying how people learn, adapt, stay motivated, and make decisions.

Later, I moved into software engineering and spent five years building products in fintech and marketing technology.

Over time, I realized that the work I was most drawn to was not only implementation. It was understanding what should be built, why it mattered, what tradeoffs we were making, and how technical decisions affected the people using the product.

That is why product management feels like the role where the two halves of my background meet.
